The goal of CIT's innovation Challenge is to bring together CIT students from various disciplines to work on ideas / problems. The students can be from any discipline, year of study or campus. Companies, both multinational and indigenous from the region will provide the idea or problem that the students will need to address. The students will be facilitated through a number of workshops to help them identify issues and possible solutions. The students will then work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to try to solve the issues. The teams will then present the proposed solutions to the companies.
One member of the winning team will win a place on Student Inc. 2020 (if there is commercial potential).
Undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time students from a course in CIT are eligible to register their interest for the Hackathon.
